Delivery service news, and message from our chief executive

To all of our customers:
Firstly, I would like to thank you all for your overwhelming support and understanding during these challenging times.
I ask you all to follow the official Government advice and stay at home unless you need essential goods or are carrying out key work which can’t be done from home.
I would also like to thank my team, who have worked around the clock with our suppliers to get as much stock as possible into our store - although it is not arriving at the speed we would ideally like, we are doing what we can.
As a result of the challenging situation we are facing, I have decided that we will not be opening on Monday March 30th, to give the team time to prepare and re-stock as much as possible.
I know our opening hours over the past week have already been cut short due to availability of stock, and I apologise for anyone who has tried to shop when we have closed early.
I’m hoping that stock availability will be better over the coming week, and that we won’t find ourselves in the same position.
We have been limiting maximum quantities of items per customer over recent days, but we will be reviewing this for when we reopen on Tuesday March 31st.
We will be working to ensure we can stock of all the basic products in the first instance. As more stock becomes available, we will be extending this to cover our usual range.
DELIVERY SERVICE UPDATE:
We have had a lot of enquiries about deliveries, and I am pleased to announce that we will be once again delivering within the Telford area.
Please note this will be limited ordering (in line with our in-store maximum quantities) and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the first instance this will only be available for people who are needing to self isolate for 12 weeks, and front-line NHS staff who cannot reach us due to the fabulous job they are doing.
We will be keeping you updated as regularly as possible on our facebook page.
Once again, on behalf of all of our team, I would like to thank all of you for your support, kind words and understanding during these unprecedented times.
This is a time for Telford to prove why it is such a great town, and for us to be doing everything we can to look after all our local businesses.
Stay home, stay safe and see you all soon.
Simon Badley, Director and CEO
