We've baked a giant ‘platinum pork pie’ as part of our celebrations of the Queen’s Jubilee – and we're giving one lucky customer the chance to win it.
The pie, based on the classic recipe used by Badley's since the 1970s and modelled here by our master butcher Lee, is 6.5cm deep, and 18.5cm wide.
And to win it, all customers have to do it guess how much it weighs, to win the unique prize.
Director Kay Badley said: “The special platinum pork pie is based on our usual recipe - from hot water pastry, pressed then filled with cured pork meat for the ultimate cured pork pie.
“Once cooked, it is filled with the finest pie jelly, making it great as a snack, on a buffet.
