Tony Law, a retired driving instructor, lives in Ketley Bank with his wife Maggie, and has been buying his meat from Badley’s for well over 20 years.

He says: “What can I say – the meat is always first class, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.

“I found Badley’s through my job, because we used to use Furnace Lane as a route for driving lessons.

“I went into the shop in Gibbons Road, Trench, to pick up a steak one day for my tea, and just hit it off with the folks in there.

“I think that was about 22 years ago, and in all that time we’ve never had any meat what we’ve not really enjoyed. I would never, ever go anywhere else.”

Tony and Maggie are now taking advantage of the Badley’s home delivery service which is helping to keep them going during the current lockdown.

“They’re looking after us brilliantly – just like they always do,” Tony says.
