With restaurant dining officially off the cards this year, Valentine’s Day 2021 means a romantic night in. What’s on your menu?
It doesn’t feel like five minutes since Christmas, which means boxes of chocolates don’t always hit the mark after our new year detox.
So it’s time to do something a bit different – and what better way to show love to your significant other than by serving up a top quality, meaty feast?
We’ve got you covered for everything you could possibly need for February 14th – whether you want a quick and easy ready meal to for speed and convenience, or want to push the boat out for a full a la carte spectacular.
Steak is always the overwhelming firm favourite meat for Valentine’s Day – and we’ve got lots of choice on offer from rump and sirloin to fillet, T-bone, rib-eye or super-quick frying steak.
All of our signature matured beef steaks are cut from our locally sourced beef, hand cut, trimmed and matured for a minimum of 21 days, before our master butchers slice our steaks to make them mouth watering.
Check out our steak selection here:
We’ve also got a selection of sauces to give your steak that extra loving bit of TLC, including pepper steak.
When it comes to cooking the perfect steak, we reckon the secret is quick cooking and giving it constant attention.
And that’s handy, because nobody wants to be spending hours slaving over a hot stove on the most romantic day of the year, do they?
Well our friends at BBC Good Food have pulled together 10 top Valentines’ Day meat treats here, which are simple and easy to prepare.
There’s a selection of steak dishes, and lots more besides here - and you’ll find all the ingredients you need right here at G. N. Badley & Sons.
So we look forward to seeing you. If you’ve got a special request – maybe some heart-shaped steak, or a specially-prepared meat hamper - or would like to talk to us about delivery, contact us through our facebook page, or drop us a message here - click here.
Remember what they say: “The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.” And the way to a woman’s heart is to simply make her feel special.
We reckon we’ve got both of those covered . . . so we look forward to seeing or speaking to you soon. Stay safe.
